The “comments” areas for the individual posts have now been disabled. As many of the posts here are gathering dust and cluttering up the internet I plan to begin deleting older posts.
Meanwhile in the unlikely event that anyone feels like leaving comments about anything in this blog here is now the place to put them……if the form below works that is…..Wordpress have recently been making changes and “improvements” that involve new hoops to jump through. It has even become more difficult to post to my own Blog. Consequently I’ll only drop by here once a week month now…..

Wellingtons 2nd single, Catch Us If You Can was written by Eccles/Martin and has no relation to the DC5 song. A third single Swoop Down On You was released in Europe, but not the UK for some reason. Maybe because Wellington were more succesful in Europe.
Song For Jimi by Wolfrilla.. looking at my copy now. On the same label as Wellington, although a different design. Incidently I think both bands came from the same town in Northamptonshire.

Thanks for the info. I haven’t heard the 2nd single but I note that “Swoop Down On You” can be heard here:-

I presume “Song for Jimi” is a tribute to the late James Marshall Hendrix and therefore probably the most collectible single on Concord?

I think all Concord releases are hard to find, perhaps with the exception of Mel & Tim – Backfield in Motion. Wolfrilla information: 3 piece band featuring Kenny Payne on Bass, Ned McGuigan on drums and Geoff Hart on lead. I think its the same Geoff Hart was once in Cupids Inspiration (used the pseudonym Wyndham George). Ned McGuigan has sadly passed away. Can’t trace anything on Kenny Payne, but this.. “HartString.
A fantastic English acoustic duo all the way from the Midi Pyrenees featuring Geoff Hart (Original guitarist with Cupids Inspiration who’s single ‘ Yesterday Has Gone’ reached number 4 in the 1968 charts.(Jan 2011 French blog site))
