Its funny how there are many things that you break/lose/throw away/give away etc and yet just a few odd things survive the years. They’re not antiques quite yet though. I still have my Aurora Frankenstein’s monster model, carefully assembled and painted at age 10 !!
And somehow I still have my very first guitar.
Made of genuine plastic. I wondered what was rattling inside it. Amazingly I still have the instructions on how to strum “Old MacDonald’s Farm” along with a bright orange plastic plectrum.

I used to love the adverts for the Aurora model kits you used to see on the backs of comics. Doctor Jekyl stands out in my mind as does Bela Lugosi’s Dracula. Stirring stuff. A scan of those if you have one would be greatly appreciated by this terminal nostalgic!

Along with the Monsters and Superheroes I recall you could buy an Aurora model torture chamber !! I must investigate that one further. See above for some other odd ads.
