You can read the full strip here (Adults only).  The joke however doesn’t quite have the same impact 36 years after it was originally published mainly because the teenagers of 1973 may be the elderly parents of today but many of them still behave as if they were 20 years younger. Unlike the previous generation we continue to grow old disgracefully. (Although I must admit I was in the Supermarket yesterday and saw an elderly woman who looked vaguely familiar… she turned out to be someone from my class at junior school…)
