1952. The Bat. Not to be confused with Batman or Man-Bat. Or Bat-Bat. I have a funny animal comic (produced by Marvel) that features a character called Bat-Bat. He is an actual bat that sometimes dons a costume to fight crime.

Most Cartoon Art comics were one-shots. This one lasted for three issues. Published in Scotland. Printed in Ireland. Most of the contents from the USA including a pointless page of classified adverts. The covers are particularly odd looking.
