For 30 years Cassandra Peterson has donned the big wig and low-cut dress in her secret identity as the larger-than-life Elvira. As well as a TV presenter and Movie queen for many years she was also a comic-book character. She was the host of DC’s “House of Mystery” for a while and then starred in 166 issues of Claypool’s “Elvira mistress of the dark”. Cassandra/Elvira is an under-rated comic actress and Claypool showed this side of her character well.
