$100,000. That is how much Fantagraphics/Monster Comics/Dave Stevens would have made if they had actually sold 1000 copies of a print of this comic cover. I have found just one print currently on sale. It says it is No 89 out of 400. So it is possible they actually had a print run of 400 rather than 1000. But did they manage to sell 400? Perhaps they only sold less than 100 and there is a box full sitting in a warehouse somewhere. Currently the comic itself is selling for $100 or more. Dave Stevens did produce some nifty covers and always drew the most attractive women.
