In 1968 Marvel Comics finally solved their distribution problems that had limited how many different titles they could issue each month. Up until then Tales to Astonish, Tales of Suspense and Strange Tales had featured two different superheroes in each issue. Beginning in June 1968 Iron Man, Sub-Mariner, Captain America, The Hulk, Dr Strange and Brooke Shields finally each had their own comics.
