Crime Comic Album

There were a number of these Comic Albums published in the UK in the 1950s from a variety of companies. Usually they reprinted stuff from the US but as the title shows, this one doesn’t. The artwork is charming in its own way and there are a smattering of “good girl” images that along with the plot make it definitely for adults and not children.

I don’t know why there is such a large black bar to the left of the cover. Perhaps it was planned to put words there but someone changed their mind? No price shown either?
