World Famous Creatures

After James Warren started Famous Monsters of Filmland other companies soon jumped on the bandwagon with copycat magazines. Film stills were cheap and words even cheaper. I believe this title only lasted 4 issues with UK editions also available.

The first issue of FMOF contained a comic strip borrowed from Humbug. World Famous Creatures decided they needed a comic strip too. I’m not 100% sure but believe this four page strip was borrowed from the short-lived Frenzy, a Mad magazine imitator.
