Pink Floyd

The first time I saw Pink Floyd live was in late 1974. I was surprised to see that the concert programme was a pastiche of UK comic strips from the previous decade or so. I assume my copy went to a new home along with 1000s of other comics when I had my last clearout which must now be 40 years ago.

Surprisingly, when they toured the States the following year the concert programme was in the same format. Galactus knows what people there would have made of the UK style comic strips. I suspect they wouldn’t have got the joke at all.
