Champ

I was recently presented with a humungous heap of tatty DC Thompson “Champ” comics from the 1980s. Until that moment I didn’t even realise “Champ” existed. It seems it was the final (so far) anthology boy’s adventure comic they produced. As it only survived for 87 issues before it merged with “Victor” and as I had about 60 issues in front of me, Galactus knows why but I set about the task of acquiring the missing issues. Only six more issues to get and then I’ll have the complete heap of worthless yellowing newsprint.
