Claude Antoine Marie François had a full, if far too short, life. A succession of women and successful songs/hits/singles spanning ballads to Disco. He wrote and sang the song “Comme d’habitute” that with a change of lyrics would become the perennial “My Way”.

When he was singing here he was only weeks away from the sad end of being electrocuted whilst in the shower.
